Stephen J. Rehfuss, Esq., was born in Albany, New York. He is a graduate of Siena College (Cum Laude), Albany Law School of Union University and is admitted to practice in the State of New York, United States Federal District Court, Northern District of New York, the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Albany 1985-1992. He has extensive trial experience and devotes 100% of his practice to representing parties in personal injury, commercial and civil rights litigation. He has a proven record of representing both plaintiffs and defendants and has been retained by individuals injured in car accidents, medical malpractice and slip and fall matters, as well as contractors, municipalities and public housing authorities. He is currently a member of the Albany County and the New York State Bar Associations, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Albany Law School.
Mr. Rehfuss was a high school and college All American in swimming and is currently an active participant in triathlons. He is a two time participant in the Lake Placid Ironman triathlon. Mr. Rehfuss is also involved in a number of charitable and community activities.
