Kara L. Baker is a native Floridian, growing up in Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating from the University of Jacksonville with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Speech Communication with a minor in Linguistics, Kara began her career in the legal field, working for a personal injury firm primarily focusing on social security, workers compensation and medical malpractice cases. Before relocating to New York, Kara moved to insurance defense, working as the lead litigation paralegal, specializing in construction defect, products liability and premises liability, gaining over seven years of experience. Kara’s other areas of focus include civil litigation, estate and probate, traffic offenses, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
Kara is currently finishing her third year at Albany Law School and plans to practice in the area of civil litigation upon graduation.
